Citavi saves recurring entries in lists.
When you add a new reference, Citavi suggests entries from the lists so you can enter information more quickly.
To manage a list, select it on Lists menu.
If you've added and deleted a number of references, unused entries may remain in the lists.
To find these, on the Edit menu, click Select unused.
Citavi shows you the number of unused entries.
To remove the unused entries, which are now highlighted, click Delete.
Citavi displays a confirmation. Warning: Deletion cannot be undo.
Sometimes you may want to combine two similar list entries.
To do so, drag the entry that you no longer need to the entry that you would like to keep.
Alternatively, click Merge in the toolbar.
The merged item is applied to all the references and knowledge items that used the old item.
Warning: merging cannot be undone.
